This is a blog I posted on my myspace... If it has a Vagina, it CAN’T BE a man Current mood: aggravated Category: News and Politics Well now we see that even Oprah is selling out to the disease of transexualism and homosexuality by featuring Thomas Beatie on her show... If anyone does not know this yet, Thomas Beatie is claiming to be the worlds first pregnant man...only he isn't a man. Thomas Beatie was born a woman...a woman who grew up and became a lesbian. Thomas Beatie has received horomone injections and had her breasts removed, she does look just like a man...but she has not and does not plan to ever have a real sex change operation...meaning she still has the vagina that God gave her at birth...meaning she is still a woman. She will always be a woman. and if one more stupid fucking person asks me if i've heard about the pregnant man i swear to Christ I will slit their fucking throat. If God wanted this freak to be a man He would have presented her with a penis at birth, instead she was gifted with a vagina, ovaries, a uterus, etc... And she has turned it into a freak show and goddamn her, she will become rich for it...both her AND that fugly bitch of a "wife" she has will become filthy, stinking, dirty rich...ya know, as evil as Oprah is, I actually used to have some sort of respect for that self centered, ratings-obsessed bitch, but now it's just gone too far... THIS IS NOT A MAN why is nobody bothered with the REAL PREGNANT MAN? www.malepregnancy.com/a MAN who had a UTERUS IMPLANTED who STILL HAS A PENIS, who IS NOT A FAG, who is doing it FOR SCIENCE... not for money, not to make a mockery of creation, the creator, and the way we were meant to procreate... And lastly, I guess my last rail will be against the sad, sad, pathetic American's who are eating this bullshit like it's some fucking Grade A Kobe beef, go get a life, go read or watch something meaningfull, go play catch with your son or take your daughter to dinner before she overdoses on pills because she's only 15 and she's scared to tell you she's pregnant by her 19 year old boyfriend, pay attention to some REAL fucking issues. America...land of the hopelessly stupid. gods, my blood pressure... thank you...i need to go cash my unemployment check at WalMart...and THAT...is a blog for another

That is messed up, really. The perversions of society are becoming more astoundingly grotesque every day, it seems.

I think that social liberalism is probably declining, though.
I saw an article about a survey that found that the younger generation or under 16, or something, have more traditional values. Basically, the backlash against modernism is beginning. There's also a religious revival going on all over the world, even in the U.S. but mostly in the developing world. My dad witnessed some of this when he went to India last year, and my Uncle and a friend of the family are there right now.
Also, we've defeated liberal (socialist/communist) economics, so it's a safe bet that their social policy won't be far behind.
When you look back at the 20th century, the World Wars sparked a kind of dark age, culturally and economically. Regan, along with Thatcher, managed to bring us out the economic hole in the 80s and also greatly bolstered the social conservative half of the political spectrum. Nowadays, i keep hearing people complain that "liberal" has become a dirty word. They blame conservatives like Rush Limbaugh, but it's their own fault 'cause they've got a much more powerful opposition that can expose them for what they are.
When ordinary people see what liberalism really is ("pregnant men"+socialism), they rightly regard it as "dirty."

Its always natural for there to be an opposite reaction to an event. Basically think Thesis then anti-Thesis. From that comes somewhat of a comprimise, which is the new Thesis, then come the anti-Thesis, so on and so forth.
I have to say nurab that i agree that a lot of people complain that liberalism is a dirty word, I think it's annoying when people agree with trends that they don't understand, just because they are trends.
Of course progressive ideas always have some place in society, as from them come change and advance, but conservatism also holds a high place as it is the regulator that keeps society from adopting every new idea that comes along and changing to something hideous.
And i think that you'd all agree that there are more bad new ideas than good new ideas. There always are.
======== edit,
sorry not trying to hijack the thread to another discussion on life,
bout that "pregnant man" yep thats just a disgrace to society, wholly sick and perverted.

I think that social liberalism is probably declining, though. I saw an article about a survey that found that the younger generation or under 16, or something, have more traditional values. I agree with this, definitely, but how long will that last? I worry that exposure to the largly liberal media will change the only hope our country seems to have. where is reagan now, yeah...dead, i know...we could use another reagan to save us from our current economic plight, and there aren't even any clear signs yet that things will get better...possibly worse...maybe they'll just hold here... what was it I saw...grain prices! up 120%, i don't know since when they've gone up, only that the article i was reading (yesterday) said the prices for grain on a worldwide avg are up by 120% and countries like Haiti are beginning to suffer, it's very worrisome. and in the midst of all the political and economical chaos, the american people find time to care about who got who knocked up in hollywood... and this...pregnant lesbian, who was too pussy to complete her sex change... how could the State of Hawaii (liberal bastards) allow her to change her sex on her Drivers Liscence AND on her birth certificate to show that she is legally a man...she is legally married to her lesbian lover...that is a legal, governent approved GAY MARRIAGE... MAYBE if she had the sex change operation i could see the state allowing that...MAYBE...but it did not happen...she is still a she.

What we need is someone with balls, the balls to do the unpopular but necessary things that Regan and Thatcher did when their nations were in a rut.
It doesn't take any balls at all to promise people free money, education, and health care. You're either spineless, craven, or a fool if you have to promise people free money and services to get elected.
A real politician will get up there and tell you that nothing is free and that you have to work ur ass off if you want to get anywhere in life. None of this affirmative action/welfare bs.
Instead of promising us more "free" welfare goodies, he'd left us keep our money so we can get the education, health care, and stuff that "WE" the individuals, want, not what one class or demographics wants.
Instead of promising to exercise power more wisely on our behalf, he'll give that power back to the people.

I think it's annoying when people agree with trends that they don't understand, just because they are trends. ooh, i feel another mega-post coming on =P (so, i was previewing these chapter out of a gov. text book for 2009 and i realized that it was easier to read big walls of text if a few words were highlighted, sorta like a rest-stop for one's eyes. In lieu of this, I've decided to try highlighting some words to make these gargantuan paragraphs, which i try to keep from getting too bloated, more readable, lemme know how it works, k?) I don't quite remember how, but the general usage of "liberal" and "liberalism" changed in the 30s. It had something to do with the welfare state set up by FDR. People came to envision the welfare state as true "liberalism." Liberalism used to mean laissez-faire economics and non-traditional government ( anti-monarchy, pro democracy). Technically, it still does. However, its general usage in the U.S. (and the UK, i think) has come to mean non-traditional social values and socialism. Similarly, "conservatism" in the States changed from the British meaning of mercantilist economics, monarchy, and traditional social values, to mean traditional social values, free market economics, and self-government (democracy's other definition). Conservatisms is the perpetual minority, in a sense. Most people are conservative, they just don't realize it until the liberals go too far (original topic of this post, socialism, etc... ). Conservatism is constantly holding back the revolution, if you will. They are not reactionaries, but they want reform, not revolution. Revolution is violent, unstable, and uncertain. Liberals, in the traditional sense, help move society forward through their constant innovating and pursuit of "progress." These people, while not always right, are important. The American "liberal," on the other hand, is really just a socialist revolutionary, a Utopian atheist. The problem lies, as Tal notes, in "faddism". American liberals are a fad. Traditional values, or Religion, are not fads. Religion is part of human nature, there are virtually no societies in all of human history that were without religion. Socrates was executed on the charge of atheism. Even the ancient Greeks, champions of reason and whatnot, would not tolerate denial of the divine. Even we, a civilization that defies gravity to explore the heavens, traverse the surfaces of foreign satellites and eventually the stars, have outgrown religion and its accompanying mores. This was the fatal mistakes of the French revolution, it wholly rejected tradition. Traditional religion, government, society, even time, were all discarded and reviled. The result, as you know, was bloodshed, slaughter, terror, tyranny, and, finally, a pan-European war. Conservatisms is the steward of the timeless values and traditions of Western Civilization and humanity as a whole. The majority of these traditions have stood the test of time. Liberalism weeds out, if you will, the weak ones. This endurance and universality is what will draw people back to them. Socialism and communism are finally dying off, the social upheaval, partly due to technological advancement, is sure to begin its inevitable demise soon, too. Basically, conservative social values (i.e. Judeo-Christian) are the foundation of both capitalism and democracy (self-government). People who rape kids, embezzle money, cheat on and leave their wives and families, embrace addiction, and murder their classmates, cannot, by definition, maintain a government of which they are the sovereigns. If we can't trust people, then we can't give them freedom.
The Founding Fathers warned that religion was indispensable to self-government. Alexis de Tocqueville names religion as the first institution of American government, as it was on Christianity that the claims of self-government and inalienable rights were based. Even the ancient Greeks knew that democracy required public virtue, and that such virtue would come from God.
No self-control (virtue) = no self-government and free economy, simple as that.

Social conservatives, like the librarians and free-market economists, have been keeping the flame alive for that time when the world emerges from the darkness of socialism and materialism to seek the light of capitalism and Christianity.
Conservatism is the only force that, as G.K. Chesterton said, keeps man from the degrading slavery of being a child of his time.
People can be distracted from the timeless values human dignity, freedom, and integrity, but not for long and not forever. The search for meaning, harmony, and peace in life is universal to all human beings. Death, violence, depravity, and dishonesty are universally recognized as evils.
What the world needs to stem the tide of human suffering and strife is not a man who claims that life is meaningless, people are meat, and truth is determined by the victor. No, the Richard Dawkins of the world inspire none of the hope, joy, empathy, or respect for one's fellow man that the world needs.
Men like Ghandi, Chesterton, Regan, and Churchill move hearts and nations by their appeals to universal truths of life, liberty, and justice. These people inspired men and women to lay down their lives for their values and their fellow man. People want to be told that life has value and meaning. They want inspiration, not doubt. MLK Jr. didn't make some scientifically based appeal for human dignity and equality, because there is none.
