My computer is not stable enough to play Mercs and my monitor is gonna be dead soon.
I figure i can get the computer stable soon, but i might accidentally turn it into a door stop in the attempt. The monitor will take a bit longer to replace, but i don't really know how long it'll be good for so i'm gonna hold our till the thing actually croaks (if the flickering induced headaches don't make me croak first, that is).
Anyhow, i'll try to be around for some matches, but i can't promise anything.

well, there's a reason for it. when you stay on it for hours without break, not getting any sleep, the poor old cpu can't cope with it : -)

i bought the parts in a hurry 'cause it was 3hours b4 my lan party was going to start. I had a radeon 1650 pro AGP, but no mobo for it. The ONLY mobo i could get at Fry's (massive west coast computer/appliance store) was this crappy ECS thing that needs a BIOS update to work with more than 1gig of DDR2. Well, i got the DDR2 a couple of months ago and that's when it all went to hell.
I just tried a couple of updates, but none of them worked. Now i've got to try to slightly more dangerous ones. My mobo says that it's v 2.0, but i looked at it in siw and it tells me v 1.0....
Anyway, i got some crap to do with this computer, but im working on getting another one to replace this one as my main gaming computer.
